These manufacturers are primarily located in Fujian, Guangdong, Shandong, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, and Hunan, and many of them are globally renowned Taiwanese-owned footwear groups.
Below are details on several major factories.
Yusheng Shoe Factory
Yusheng Shoe Factory is one of Nike’s key contract manufacturers in China, with the factory code “YS,” and is part of the world’s largest footwear group, Pou Chen International Group. Its main production base is located in Shanggao County, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, and it also operates a factory in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province (code HJ/LG). The factory has long manufactured large volumes of mid-to-low-end running shoes (such as the Revolution series) and retro styles (such as the Cortez) for Nike. As a key link in Nike’s supply chain, Yusheng Footwear once employed tens of thousands of workers, making it a massive operation.
Guangyou Shoe Factory
Guangyou Shoe Factory is one of Nike’s key contract manufacturers in China, with the factory code “XB,” and specializes primarily in the production of vulcanized shoes (such as the classic Nike Blazer series). Located in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, the factory is a contract manufacturer directly authorized by Nike in mainland China. As a major production base for Nike’s vulcanized shoes, Guangyou Footwear emphasizes a production process that bonds the upper to the outsole through high-temperature vulcanization, resulting in a softer and more durable outsole.
Xiefeng Shoe Factory
Xiefeng Shoe Factory is one of Nike’s key contract manufacturers in China. With the factory code “LN2,” it is located in Putian, Fujian Province. Lifeng Shoe Factory is one of Nike’s key contract manufacturers in China. The factory, designated “LN4,” is located in Putian, Fujian Province. Nearly all of Nike’s high-end basketball shoes, such as the Air Jordan mainline, LeBron series, and Kobe series, are primarily manufactured at Yue Yuen. Sanfa Shoe Factory

The factory specializes in producing Nike’s high-end soccer cleats and serves as the core production base for Nike’s soccer product line. High-end versions of series such as Mercurial, Tiempo, and Phantom are mostly manufactured by Sanfa Footwear. As early as 2014, Nike launched a new website called the Nike Manufacturing Map. This website provides basic information about Nike factories and lists details on all officially authorized Nike facilities. According to statistics, Nike operates factories in 43 countries worldwide and employs nearly 1 million workers in total. Additionally, the website lists various details for each factory, including its address, gender ratio of employees, affiliated division, and product categories.
